2024 Local Correspondent Audio Competition
In March 2024, we put out a call for local stories from across the country. We called you to think local and capture the funny, interesting or weird story of your neighbourhood, all wrapped up in a 3 minute nugget of audio.
Our team got together and picked 8 finalists whose pieces were licensed and published on CANADALAND in the fall but you can find all the submissions here - we received nearly 50! Listen to them below and get transported from coast to coast, From a typewriter repair shop in Calgary to a local interest column in the Lunenburg Barnacle, the creativity of what we heard did not disappoint!
